Fourteen jars on bodytemperature with the text ‘Guide me’, hanging on the tubes of the Watertower of Oost-Souburg, Vlissingen. The jars came from the neighborhood and were once filled by the water of the tower to warm the beds and brought people to sleep into the elusive dark world of their unconsciousness. They surrendered themselves, ‘Guide me’, to an area where we do not know ourselves and sometimes walk upon unsave paths. The mutual bounded jars on body temperature together formed a demolition explosive. Fourteen jar bombs, it must have been a reaction to 9/11. After that date a building has never become the naturally safe surrounding area anymore. But also fourteen jars with unconsciousness, connected together as in the night, that is also an explosive entity.
